[ptt-users] Recorder on 4.4 is rather slow

There's two reasons that I can think of why the recorder may run slower.
One is the number of connections and bytes that the recorder is trying
to push through. In that case you need to update your registry to a 64k
buffer size:
 
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings]
"SocketSendBufferLength"=dword:00065536

The other could be an aggressive firewall or virus scanner. I've had to
have our IT admins tune the rules on my computer to allow different
tools (port scanner, network sniffer, proxies, etc.) because the corp
defaults kept me from performing my job correctly.

I used 4.3 today on my colleague's machine and noticed it being very
very slow.

Whilst on mine it is a little slow.

I cannot explain this.

Hello,

Has anyone notice the recorder with 4.4 being extremely slow?  It
appears
like loading pages is really slow when going though the recorder.  Thing
is
when I use an old version of TesMaker (4.0.6 to be exact), it is a lot
faster.
