[ptt-users] TestMaker and Eclipse

Hey Frank,

I've been using Test maker with eclipse for quite a while now. I've cheated
a bit. I've basically pulled out the jar files from the Test Maker bundle
and added it to my project path. I find it easier to debug my applications
this way.

I have not run the recorded this way, only the playback. I essentially just
kick off my "runner" jython script, and it does the rest.

Let me know if you want more info.

Aaron.

Hi Monirul: Oracle is porting JDeveloper to be an Eclipse Plugin.
That's supposed to happen something this year as part of the Oracle
Fusion Middleware project. So, hopefully, what we do for Eclipse will
be useful to JDeveloper too. (I've been accused of being Polly Anna
before, though.)

What I'm less certain of is how TestMaker's functionality would
appear in Eclipse. Any ideas?

-Frank
