[ptt-users] TestMaker 4.4.1b throws exception when recording script

Aaron, thanks for asking.  The application is actually a J2EE app.  The
exception is thrown after the script recorder is turned on, more or less the
instant that I requested the first web page from the application (the logon
page, which is a static web page).
 
Does anybody have any ideas as to why the exception is happening?  Is it a
log4j or TestMaker application configuration issue?  Once again, TestMaker
displayed this output:
 
Proxy recorder server started on port: 8090
log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger
(com.bitmechanic.maxq.ProxyServer).
log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.
Exception in thread "MaxQRequestHandler #0" java.lang.NullPointerException
at
com.bitmechanic.maxq.SwingMain.reportOutsideException(SwingMain.java:305)
at com.bitmechanic.maxq.RequestHandler.run(RequestHandler.java:243)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)
